She did it! Only a day or two ago I was saying energy was draining from her campaign; and that a week is politically long. I guess 48 hours are not short, either - and I, like every other pundit who's ever said the words "New Hampshire", feel a bit foolish for having compared her (God help the woman) to Gordon Brown. She's not won by a lot - but that may not matter. Loss of momentum - arrested. Loss of nomination - postponed.
Was it the tearing up wot won it? I have no idea, though it can't have done Hillary any harm at all. I don't think it's a question of seeming more feminine, or more vulnerable - I honestly think voters are over those stereotyped ways of thinking about her. But breaking through the wonkish, no-quite-human, Gordon Brown-esque image she sometimes projects, and seeming more real, more human: all this is important if she's going to go on and win both pennant and bowl.
My money? Still on Hillary.
